Firstly you take a scenic drive through the streets of Georgetown – UNESCO World Heritage Site and witness the ramnants left by the British and local dwellers of the past.

Take a short stroll through Armenian Street where its famed street art/murals are found. Discover the unique painted walls mimicking life in the city. Blending humour and historical elements, Ernest Zacharevic, a Lithuanian born artist, hand painted the art to reflect to local culture has to offer during his short stay in Penang in 2010. Some examples are “Kids on a Bicycle”, “Boy On Chair”, and many more.

Part of the heritage trail, the Clan jetties are a unique sight to witness as you walk through a wooden path on stilts with wooden houses beside you that are still inhabited by the locals till today. After the construction of the Quay in 1882, the waterfront was developed with short public landing stages or jetties. Settlements grew on these foundations and they were used for the loading and unloading of goods and for the mooring of sampans (boats). Gradually, each jetty became identified and dominated by certain clans and over time more huts sprung up. Be awed by the experience of going through a village atmosphere in the heart of the city.
