Itinerary
Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Kuantan
Stop At: Kuantan, Kuantan, Kuantan District, Pahang
Our Representative will pick up at 6:00 am from your hotel and Proceed to Kuantan (2 1/2 Hours Drive)
Stop at: Sungai Lembing Mines
Sungai Lembing Town is situated North –West from Kuantan, an hour drive to reach there. Once famous for it’s tin mines and the most talked about in being the largest underground tin mine in the world, Sungai Lembing today has become a township only with the “diehard”. Sungai Lembing ( the cowboy town) and now the town has been modified into a new look for tourists spots. Visit the old market square; see the Chinese clan houses and surrounding. Pop into a home bakery, still using wood-fired ovens for making buns, coconut biscuits ,cakes and “coffee-croutons”. Explore this quaint town, see how the locals still used the high hanging bridges to cross the Lembing River during the rainy season and the Tin-Mine Museum which houses the equipments used, tin samples and display of the network of tunnels spreading over 785 kilometers underground.
Stop at: Lunch at Malay Traditional Food( Original Nasi Kukus)
It sounds like the simplest of meals: Steamed rice. When paired with their spiced fried chicken – a harmony of sweet, savoury, and slightly spicy curry – it is mouth-wateringly good and absolutely satisfying. Nasi kukus is widely available in Kuantan, the excellent taste of its fluffy rice and spiced fried chicken. You will be tempted to have seconds.
Stop at : Sungai Pandan Waterfall & Panching Cave
also knows as Gua Charah, lies 25 kilometers west of Kuantan. The cave is a Buddhist sanctuary – house a huge statue of the reclining Buddha and other smaller dedicated statues. All these are located in the intricate of the flower chambers, where the largest the top offers you a panoramic view of the surrounding area. As you hike up the cave, you would more smaller and cavities which is typical of a limestone cave. A natural opening in the rooftop of the cave allows sunlight to penetrates, illuminating the Buddha Statue for the certain parts of the day. From here we will proceed to the Pandan Waterfall where you can take refreshing dip in the natural pool.

Stop at Pantai Batu Hitam
Tanjung Api Fishing Jetty – From Pantai Batu Hitam we’ll proceed to Tanjung Api Fishing Jetty. This will be a photo shop. Here you will be able to capture photos of life at a local fishing village.
Stop at: Cherating Village & Natural Batik
Cherating Village is famous with handicrafts and you will visit Pandanus Weaving Centre to admire the local grass craft, which have been artfully woven into hats, handbags, and tablemats. Batik painting is an absolutely perfect respite for those who wants to catch a breather from the hustle and bustle of city life. Relish in a peaceful and quiet afternoon painting your very own batik artwork in Kuantan Natural Batik Village. Mix the basic colours until you find the perfect blend and use them to inject life into the intricate motifs. Plus, you also get to keep your very own batik painting afterwards! The Natural Batik Village also sells stunning batik cloth, silk shirts, dresses – perfect souvenirs to remember your visit by! Stop at: Lao Zi Temple
13 kilometres from Sungai Lembing, Lao Zi Temple is home to the reputedly ‘longest manmade dragon’. Start out your winding journey to the temple going in through its ‘tail’ and coming out at the temple when you exit its ‘mouth’. Devotees believe that good luck comes to those who make the 2,700-foot pilgrimage through the dragon; annually, close to 100,000 visitors drop in to pay homage to the founder of Taoism.
Stop at Lunch – Hup Kee Noodle
This pork-free noodle is where locals go to get their mee (noodles) fix. This signature dish is the fish ball noodles, which you can have dry or with soup, with the option to add pieces of yong tau foo (vegetables stuffed with fish or meat paste). There are four types of noodles to choose from, It’s a type of local noodle Slightly thicker than the usual yellow noodle, it’s springy to the bite and goes well with the yong tau foo. La Gourmet also serves delicious chee cheong fun (rice noodle roll) that comes with generous servings of onions, sesame seeds, and fried shallots. Down the food with a refreshing iced coffee or tea.
Stop at Masjid Sultan Ahmad Shah
Constructed between 1991 and 1993, this powder-blue building is the east coast’s best known mosque and one of Kuantan’s top tourist draws. Located beside a vast football field, the structure features Moorish architecture as well as beautiful designs and etchings. At night it’s a pretty sight when its minarets, spires and turrets are brightly lit.

Taman Esplanade Kuantan is great place to relax, take a stroll or simply enjoy surrounding views with Cup of Coffee or Tea. after this back to Kuala Lumpur and drop to hotel or Drop off point
