Itinerary

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Cameron Highlands (Hotel recommended: Strawberry Park )

Stop At: Cameron Highlands, Cameron Highlands, Pahang
7.00am-7.30am Complimentary pick up from your Kuala Lumpur hotel with live commentary and depart for the Cameron Highlands and on arrival walk through the vast tea plantations and farmlands for photo shoots. Lunch at Tanah Rata and visit Butterfly Farm – a secret paradise of butterflies, insects, beetles dancing on scented flowers and ferns. You will get to see live scorpions, snakes, etc Go down to the Vegetable Farm to see various flowers, vegetables and fruits grown in the Camerons. Some farmers are into organic farming due to the growing niche market. Check in to hotel. You will be guided to reasonably priced restaurants. Recommended dinner would be “HOT POT” that augurs well for the cool weather.

Day 2: Cameron Highlands – Kuala Lumpur (Hotel recommended: Shangrila )

Stop At: Mossy Forest, Brinchang Malaysia
8am Go for the Bonus Tour of the Mossy Forest on a 4 wheel drive vehicle. There are constraints for this tour due to unforeseen weather conditions. So it is subject to availability. Mossy forests are
a natural environment formed by low level clouds that blanket the forests thus creating a mossy forest. This is liked by creatures as in frogs, snakes, insects and birds unique to chilly atmosphere. Live Commentary by Nature Guide. Return to hotel to freshen up and depart for Kuala Lumpur.

Stop At: Batu Caves, Batu Caves, Selangor
Batu Caves is colorful and iconic with a 140 feet magnificent Statue of a Hindu Deity, constructed by artisans from India. You may climb 272 steps into the cave temple with many statues of the Hindu religion. Every year the Hindu festival of “Thaipusam” is celebrated in honor of Hindu Deity and devotees come in droves to give thanks for vows fulfilled. Ladies to be properly attired to enter the temple – knees and shoulders to be covered.
