Day 01 Kuala Lumpur – Rainforest Belum Temenggur
The Belum Rainforest is a 130 million years old tropical rainforest with 3000 flowering plants, 3 species of World’s largest flower Rafflesia, 10 species of horn bills, endangered Tigers, Elephants, Tapirs.
7.00-7.30am Depart for Belum, enroute visit Batu Caves. Climb 272 steps into the temple of Hindu Deity. On arrival at Belum Jetty have lunch. Check in at resort. Canoeing to look out for horn bills, monkeys. Return to resort, Freshen up, dinner watch documentary on Belum.
Day 02 Rainforest Belum – Kuala Lumpur
8.00am After breakfast boat ride to trekking spot The experienced Nature Guide will belt out facts and taboos of Belum. Look out for horn bills, flying fox, Rafflesia during trekking. At the aborigine village, watch fire making skills and blowpipe demonstration. Swim and wallow at the Rainforest Waterfalls as the cool mountain waters caress your skin. Packed lunch served. Return to resort, freshen up, depart for Kuala Lumpur arriving approx 8pm.
