Belum Temenggor is a man made lake used by the aborigines and endangered animals like tigers, elephants, tapirs. there are numerous species of plants and birds. The trekking leads to an aborigine village where the ladies shy away and the men run away only to reappear with their fire making and hunting tools for a unique demonstration.
Penang Island is a tourist attraction and heritage city with diverse cultures living in harmony. Batu Feringghi is the happening beach front with water sports, dining options and luxury hotels.

Itinerary

Day 1: KUALA LUMPUR – CAMERON HIGHLANDS

Stop At: Gombak, Batu Caves 68100 Malaysia
7.00-7.30 am Complimentary pick up from your Kuala Lumpur hotel and visit the iconic Batu Caves and climb 272 steps into the cave temple of Hindu Deity who is honored during Thaipusam every year. Devotees come to give thanks for vows fulfilled. Ladies to be properly attired to enter the temple – knees and shoulders covered. Then continue journey to the Camerons.

Stop At: Cameron Highlands, Cameron Highlands, Pahang
Cameron Highlands is a hill resort with cool temperatures and farmlands, flower nurseries, wildlife, aborigines, lakes and waterfalls. It was discovered by British Geologist Sir William Cameron 1885. Camerons boasts of large tea plantations and farmlands which are instrumental in drawing visitors to the highlands. Walk through the rolling hills for photo shoots. Then at the Vegetable Market see various, vegetables, fruits, flowers for sale. Some farmers are into organic farming for the growing niche markets. Malaysian dinner recommended the “HOT POT” – an apt meal for the cool weather in Camerons. Bring sweaters as the nights are cold. Hotel and meals included. Traffic jams in Camerons unavoidable.

Day 2: Camerons – Rainforest Belum Temenggur

Stop At: Belum-Temengor, Malaysia
Rainforest Belum Temenggur over 130 million years old, covering 117,500 hectares with 3,000 species flowering plants, 3 species of the world Largest flower – Rafflesia, 10 species of horn bills and a mesmerizing Rainforest Waterfalls.
8am After breakfast depart for Rainforest Belum. On arrival at Belum Jetty, have lunch and you will be whisked away for a jungle trekking experience. The experienced Nature Guide will belt out facts and taboos of Belum, the aborigines, the medicinal and poisonous plants and the aphrodisiacs therein. Trekking opens a world of many jungle surprises and experiences. You will be greeted by the aborigines. Watch their fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques. Look out for the World’s Largest flower Rafflesia. You will reach a mesmerizing Rainforest Waterfalls for a swim and wallow. Packed lunch served. Continue swimming.
Check in to a jungle resort. Dinner and documentary on Belum Rainforest. Enjoy the Jungle ambience as the forest orchestra plays.

Day 3: Rainforest Belum – Penang Island

Stop At: Batu Ferringhi Beach, Batu Ferringhi, Penang Island Malaysia
Penang Island is one of the prime tourist attractions. Sir Francis Light founded Penang in 1786 and he first landed at Fort Cornwallis. On arrival at Penang, Malaysian lunch and visit Sleeping Buddha, Clan Jetties and take a Trishaw ride to Fort Cornwallis through Georgetown – the capital of Penang and listed as a heritage site by UNESCO.
Batu Feringghi – the happening beach front with water sports, dining options, seafront night markets, luxury hotels all lined up along the beach. Your hotel is located at this beach front for you enjoy the sun sea sand. You are in for a blast ! . Have a great holiday. Dinner on your own and hotel for today has been paid. Please make own arrangements for your onward destination. End of tour.
