Itinerary

Day 1: Kuala Lumpur – Cameron Highlands (Recommended hotel : Avillion)

Stop At: Gombak, Batu Caves 68100 Malaysia
7.00am -7.30am Complimentary pick up from hotel reception in Kuala Lumpur and depart for the iconic and colorful Batu Caves is a limestone outcrop and is the home of Hindu Deity who is honored during the Hindu festival of Thaipusam every year. Ladies must be properly attired to enter the temple – knees and shoulders to be covered. The temple is some 272 steps into the cave.

Stop At: Cameron Highlands, Cameron Highlands, Pahang
Cameron Highlands is a hill resort with cool temperatures known for its farmlands, nurseries, waterfalls, tea plantations, lakes, aborigines. British Geologist Sir William Cameron discovered the highlands in 1885. Photo shoot at Cascading Waterfalls and Tanah Rata – the biggest town in the Camerons. Tea plantations work closely with WWF in conservation of our endangered elephants, tigers, tapirs. It is a wonderful experience to sip tea perched on an elevated tea cafe to catch a glimpse of the lush carpet of greenery below. Butterfly Farm is a secret paradise where butterflies, beetles, stick insects, scorpions, little snakes are alive. The walk to the marketplace to see vegetables, fruits and flowers grown in the Camerons is exciting. Some farmers are into organic farming due to the growing niche market. Check in to hotel, Free and easy. Due to the cool weather, it is recommended to have the best selling dinner in Camerons the HOT POT. Traffic jams in Camerons unavoidable.

Day 2: Cameron Highlands – Rainforest Taman Negara ( Recommended hotel : Xcape Resort)

Stop At: Taman Negara National Park, Taman Negara National Park
Taman Negara is a 130 million years old tropical rainforest with endangered tigers, elephants, tapirs. 14,000 flowering plants, 300 bird species.
7.00 am – 7.30am Depart for Taman Negara, on arrival walk up the Canopy Walkway ( Fridays closed) to have a bird’s eye view of the World’s oldest Rainforest. The boatman negotiates 7 sets of rapids to reach an aborigine village where ladies shy away and men “run” away only to reappear with their fire making and hunting tools for a “native” demonstration. They live carefree lives and the rainforest is their supermarket. Nature Guide will belt out facts, taboos of the jungle as he takes you jungle trekking. Check in to hotel. Night Walk is exciting in locating spiders, scorpions, snakes. even wild boar and black panther as they forage for food and watch nocturnal animals come for their salt intake. The Nature Guide lives in Taman Negara and he knows the terrain like the back of his hands. They will be with you throughout the tour.

Day 3: Taman Negara – Kuala Besut Jetty (Perhentian/Redang Islands getaway)

Stop At: Kuala Besut, Kuala Besut, Besut District, Terengganu
0600hrs Please note timing and you may have to pack your breakfast from your hotel ( which you are entitled to) and you can have your breakfast in the vehicle. Your guide will lead you to the correct boat for your onward journey to Paradise Islands of Perhentian or Redang. Thank you for your support. End of tour.
