7.00am – 7.30 am Complimentary pick up from your Kuala Lumpur hotel and depart for the Camerons, enroute visit the iconic Batu Caves, climb 272 steps into the temple of Hindu Deity honored during Hindu festival of Thaipusam. Tea plantations in Camerons work closely with the WWF and the Malaysian Nature Society in the conservation of our endangered elephants, tigers and Orangutan. It is a 1,200 hectares of undulating land and it produces 4 million kg of tea every year. Its owned by Sir John Russell since 1929. It was discovered by Sir William Camerons in 1885.
It is a wonderful experience to sip tea perched on an elevated tea Cafe to catch a bird’s eye view of the lush carpet of greenery below.
Various insects and butterflies are alive at the Butterfly Farm. The walk to the marketplace to see vegetables, fruits and flowers grown in the Camerons is exciting. Due to the cool weather, the best selling dinner would be “HOT POT”. Traffic jams in Camerons unavoidable.

A walkabout tour of the vegetable market which showcases the variety of vegetables, fruits and flowers grown in the Cameron Highlands. A market place that is packed with locals buying fresh vegetables at a bargain.

A photo shoot of the Cascading waterfalls where locals go for picnics during weekends and public holidays. In the vicinity, Souvenirs, tribal handicrafts, strange herbs and aphrodisiacs are available.

The aborigines are scattered all over the Camerons and we make a stop to watch a blowpipe demonstration and an insight of their lifestyle. The rainforest is their supermarket and they live care free lives. Some of them have assimilated into society and are working in the hotels and farms nearby. You are allowed to enter their houses for photo shoots.
