This is a special request tour to maximise on time . The tour covers the daily activities and the add on of the Night Jungle walk.
Taman Negara is a 130 million years old tropical rainforest, home to endangered animals as in tigers, elephants, tapirs…14,000 flowering plants and aphrodisiacs. Activities include the Canopy Walkway (Wednesdays closed), Night Jungle walk if you are lucky you might sight mouse deer, scorpions, snakes, owls foraging for food. Silence to prevail ! Rapids shooting where the boatman skillfully negotiates 7 sets of rapids to reach an aborigine village – the ladies shy away and men ‘run’ away only to reappear with fire making and hunting tools for a ‘native’ demonstration. Stop At: Gombak, Batu Caves 68100 Malaysia
7.00 – 7.30 am Complimentary pick up from your Kuala Lumpur hotel and visit the iconic and colorful Batu Caves – Climb 272 steps into the Cave temple – home of Hindu Deity who is honored during the Hindu festival of Thaipusam every year, Ladies to be properly attired to enter the temple – knees and shoulders to be covered. Devotees give thanks for vows fulfilled. Then proceed for Rainforest Taman Negara.

Taman Negara is a 130 million years old tropical rainforest with endangered animals like tigers, elephants, tapirs… 14,000 flowering plants, 300 bird species and aborigines who live deep in the jungle.
On arrival at Kuala Tahan, walk up the Canopy Walkway to have a bird’s eye view of the world’s oldest rainforest. Fridays Canopy Walkway closed. The boatman negotiates 7 sets of rapids to reach an aborigine village to watch fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques. The experienced Nature Guide will belt out facts and taboos of Taman Negara. He will talk on medicinal and poisonous plants and even aphrodisiacs.
Check in to hotel to refresh. After dinner at Floating restaurant join Nature guide in Night Jungle Walk to look for mouse deer, spiders, scorpions, even wild boars. Climb the Hide to watch nocturnal animals come for their salt lick.
Return to hotel freshen up and transfer back to Kuala Lumpur arriving approx. 2am. End of tour.
